Our home, built in 2006, is located in a peaceful neighborhood of Kilpisjärvi. This semi-detached house is just a short walk from the village services, including a grocery store, restaurants, a service station, and the Kilpisjärvi Visitor Centre. Nature lovers will appreciate the easy access to hiking trails right at nature's doorstep.

About Us

We are Martti and Sinikka, and we live permanently in our Kilpisjärvi home with our small team of Siberian huskies. When we offer our home for short-term rentals, we either live in a camping car in the front yard or are out on camping trips. Our six huskies are trained sled dogs, and they live in a fenced kennel in our yard. If we are here during your stay, you're welcome to meet our friendly huskies!

Please note that our home is not suitable for those with dog allergies, as our huskies frequently visit the house. Regrettably, we cannot accept other dogs as our huskies can be quite jealous.

Our huskies are the Arctic kind who prefer to live outdoors but since they frequently visit the house, our home is not suitable for persons who are allergic to dogs. We regret but we cannot accept other dogs in our home as our own are rather jealous!

Our Home in Kilpisjärvi

Our apartment is cozy and welcoming, with a living area of 60 m². It features a spacious living room with an open kitchen, one bedroom, a sauna with a washroom and WC, and an outdoor terrace. The living area windows offer a partial view of Lake Kilpisjärvi and the Swedish coastline with its beautiful mountain range.

Prices and Bookings

We rent our home to private parties of 1-4 persons during the summer and autumn foliage season.

The rental price is € 130 for the first night.
Additional nights are € 100 per night.
The rental price includes accommodations, bed and bath linen, and departure day cleaning for 1 - 2 persons.
Additional persons are charged € 20 per night,
