The nearest airports are in Kittilä (KTT) in Finland (280 km / 174 miles) and in Tromso (TOS) in Norway (170 km / 106 miles). The airport in Enontekiö (ENF) is currently served by charter flights only. Regularly scheduled airport taxi is available from Kittilä to Kilpisjärvi 3 - 4 times a week. To Kilpisjärvi by Public Transportation from Finland and from Norway 

A daily bus connection from Rovaniemi to Kilpisjärvi, via Kittilä and Muonio. Please check the timetables and fares at Matkahuolto.

The Arctic Route offers a seasonal bus connection between Tromso in Norway and Rovaniemi in Finland, with a stop in Kilpisjärvi.
