Husky Sledding Experience and Three-Country Border Marker - Highlights of Kilpisjärvi in One Day

Come and meet the authentic Siberian huskies of Kilpisjärvi and join us for a fun husky sled ride in the stunning landscapes of Mt. Saana.

Perhaps the most popular attraction in Kilpisjärvi is the Three-Country Cairn marking the common border of Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

You can participate in both excursions in a single day. Join us for the trip! If you are traveling to Kilpisjärvi from Tromso for just one day, the timing will be adjusted to fit the Arctic Route bus schedule.

Please note that children must be at least 10 years old to participate in Highlights of Kilpisjärvi.

Driving a Snowmobile to the Three-Country Cairn

You can choose to drive a snowmobile to the Three-Country Cairn instead of riding as a passenger in the sled, for an additional fee. This option is also suitable for beginners.

Two people can share a single snowmobile, allowing one person to drive while the other occupies the passenger seat behind the driver. During periodic breaks, you can switch roles as needed. The tour begins with a comprehensive briefing on driving and safety instructions. Each driver must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving license authorizing them to drive a car in Finland.
