Join us for a snowmobile tour to the Three-Country Cairn! This adventure spans approximately 3 hours.

Master the Fundamentals of Snowmobiling

You will share a snowmobile with a partner, with one serving as the driver and the other as a passenger seated behind.

Before embarking on the journey, you'll receive a comprehensive briefing from our guide, covering essential driving techniques and safety regulations. The tour commences from the lakeshore, in Kilpisjärvi village.

Navigate a Snowmobile Across Frozen Lake Kilpisjärvi to Reach the Three-Country Cairn

The tripoint lies within the wilderness, inaccessible by conventional roadways, nestled on the outskirts of the Malla Nature Reserve—the oldest protected natural area in Finland.

You'll traverse the frozen expanse of Lake Kilpisjärvi, which is surrounded by Arctic scenery in every direction. We'll make a few stops along the way, offering you the chance to stretch your legs, switch drivers, and relish the views.

Three Countries, Two Time Zones: Explore the Three-Country Cairn

Our journey includes a break at the border marker, allowing you the freedom to explore the territories of each country without the hassle of border patrols or passport controls. As you wander around the cairn, you'll visit three countries and two time zones—all within a matter of moments! It's a truly unique experience in the heart of the wilderness.
