Planning a visit to Kilpisjärvi? Stay in our cozy and welcoming home, just a short walk from the village center.

Built in 2006, our semi-detached house is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood with easy access to local services. The grocery store, restaurants, and service station are all nearby, and hiking trails begin almost at your doorstep. It’s an ideal base for exploring the unique Arctic nature of the region.

About Your Hosts

We are Martti and Sinikka, year-round residents of Kilpisjärvi. We share our everyday life with a small pack of Siberian huskies.

When we rent out our home, we either travel or stay in our camper on the property. Our huskies are trained sled dogs living outdoors in a fenced kennel in the yard. If we are present during your stay, you are warmly welcome to meet them — they are friendly and enjoy visitors.

Please note that the dogs occasionally spend time inside the house. For this reason, the apartment is not suitable for guests with dog allergies. We also kindly ask that you do not bring pets, as our huskies are protective of their territory.

Your Stay in Kilpisjärvi

Our 60 m² apartment offers a comfortable and relaxed stay for 1–4 guests. It includes:

A spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen
One bedroom
A private sauna with washroom and WC
An outdoor terrace

From the living area, you can enjoy a partial view of Lake Kilpisjärvi and the Swedish mountains beyond the border.

Smoking is not allowed indoors.

Rates and Reservations – 2026

We offer accommodation for private guests during the summer and autumn foliage (ruska) seasons:

(June 1–18 and August 3–31), minimum stay 2 nights
High Summer Season €130 / night
(June 18 – August 3), minimum stay 3 nights
Autumn Foliage Season €130 / night
(August 31 – September 15), minimum stay 2 nights

Prices include accommodation for 2 guests.

Additional guests: €10 / person / night
