Fishing on River Könkämäeno - a bucket list experience in Arctic Lapland
River Könkämäeno, which has its source in Lake Kilpisjärvi and forms the border between Finland and Sweden, is on the bucket list of many seasoned fishermen and fisherwomen. Join us for a rafting and fishing trip!
The duration of this trip is 8 - 10 hours. The trip is carried out from July 1 until August 31, weather conditions allowing.
Fishing trip in the borderland of Finland and Sweden
Arctic grayling is the main catch you can expect when fishing on River Könkämäeno. We'll float down the river in a rubber raft, paddling through the rapids, crossing the backwaters with the aid of the outboard engine and stopping from time to time in the best fishing spots.
The starting point is 15 km south of the village of Kilpisjärvi.
